Museum of… is een project dat ergens op het Europese platteland is ontstaan. Een verborgen paviljoen; een constructie die beweert een museum te zijn maar eigenlijk een kunstwerk is dat weigert gedefinieerd te worden. Opening: Vrijdag 4 oktober 17 uur.

Museum of… is a project that originates from somewhere in the European countryside.  A hidden pavilion; a construction that claims to be a museum but actually is an artwork that refuses to be defined. Opening: Friday, October 4, 5 p.m.

Het Paleis, het cultuurgebouw waarin OFF HOOK zich bevindt, organiseert jaarlijks een culturele zondag waarop kunstenaars, muzikanten en vormgevers hun deuren openen voor het publiek. OFF HOOK is ook open deze dag en presenteert o.a. de zeefdrukken die door OFF HOOK zijn uitgebracht.

Het Paleis, the cultural building in which OFF HOOK is located, organizes an annual cultural Sunday on which artists, musicians and designers open their doors to the public. OFF HOOK is also open this day and presents, among other things, the silkscreen prints released by OFF HOOK.

For the exhibition BOTH SIDES in OFF HOOK, Jan van der Ploeg has designed two site specific wall paintings which will be presented alongside work on canvas.

Fri 27 October – Sun 12 November @ Hele dag –

From October 27th – November 12th 2023 Andre Dekker will live and work in OFF HOOK, the project space for contemporary art in Groningen, showing the ink drawings he is making since the pandemic.

In his lively compositions, Dolf Verlinden explores space both within the frame and outside it.

Jaap Kroneman is vooral onbekend gebleven met heel uiteenlopend werk. De enige constante is de piano die als dissonant telkens weer opduikt om te voorkomen dat de ogenschijnlijke willekeur kan worden opgevat als programma. Jaap woont en werkt in Brussel.

Barbara Helmer (1966) is a visual artist in Rotterdam. She is a painter, and in addition she draws and does screen printing, risoprints and murals.
